Okay, LT, that wasn’t good.
And Quick complaining about the goal was funny.
Yeah, I feel for Quick with Ovi having crashed into the net, but watching the replay, Ovi vacated with haste, and I thought Quick had plenty of time to recover. Apparently, so did the rags’ video coaches.
Yeah, I agree that Quick had time to get reset and deal with the shot. In fact, he did deal with the shot, then missed the rebound.
And what do you know, a challenge went the Caps way!
Definitely not Thompson’s best game.
Yeah. He thanked the guys for bailing him out in the locker room after the game.
I thought he did play pretty well otherwise, the other three goals were defensive breakdowns that left him high and dry, and he did have some great saves.
I thought his positioning looked questionable on the last goal. It was a defensive breakdown, but it should have still been savable.
