Anyone on here making a statement like this is showing just how jaded they are themselves and never actually cared about progressive policies, just “their team winning”.
“Oh you didn’t do something I wanted? Well now you don’t deserve anything”, is this really the message you’re trying to send while being such an active participant on the fediverse? It’s really scary and telling seeing all these comments, you were never really in it for the moral fight, just the victory. One failed election and everyone “deserves” what’s coming for them now.
The tiny majority of voters. Not the country. Close? Not really.
All those eligible voters who didn’t bother to vote at all who make up the rest of the country spoke too. They said they didn’t give a shit.
So again, seems like a “why bother?” situation.
