I so badly miss playing TF2 in the first few years it came out, still back in days when custom servers were king and you’d make friends with other random people who always played on the same servers. Games just don’t feel like that anymore smh
Yeah, and most servers just had open chat where you would shoot the shit with the whole server. You’d share funny meme sprays, maybe play some micspam. After a while, one of the mods would make gravity all fucky or turn on some wacky game mode full of jank and made by some rando.
Sure, there were servers where winning was serious business, but that wasn’t the default. That was just there if you really wanted to tryhard
