A suspect has been arrested for allegedly assassinating UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on Dec. 4 in New York City. The suspect, Luigi Mangione, was arrested on Dec. 9 in Pennsylvania. The police believe this was a premeditated murder.
It would have been better if they had just not said anything. Or if they had to still say anything, they could have focused on how this could be a point of building solidarity. Even right-wing working class people are in agreement on how fucked for-profit healthcare is for all of us. But no, they chose to take the same general path as the capitalist propaganda outlets.
