Well if you look at their posts they have no problem saying Truth and Reconciliation day or International Women’s Day etc etc. I don’t care that they don’t say christmas anymore but remembrance day is like the most important day on the canadian calendar.

I think you might be reading a little too much into it. It’s just information that services will be closed that day, I see no political statement. They acknowledge it on the website: https://www.uvic.ca/news/topics/2024+flag-lowering-remembrance-day+news
The other days you’ve mentioned are neither well known nor are they statutory holidays, so it makes sense to actually provide some context
