    I can only see one result of this: a debilitatingly self-aware nod to the previous one so obviously written by DNC partisan hacks that it feels empty compared to the original.

    Seriously, they should hype and release a sequel to idiocracy, but have it be a legitimate documentary covering the last decade, but with the save tone and narrator as the movie.

    Well, we’ve already had part 2 from 2016 to 2020. Part 3 is coming out soon. I wonder how they’re going to top that.

      It’s the final part of a trilogy - they’re going to turn everything up a notch. More danger, more explosions, more deaths and a shock ending that leaves the door open to a sequel trilogy (or it reveals that this was all a Handmaid’s Tale prequel).

    Maybe Luke’s character goes back in time to present day and then spends the rest of the movie trying to get back to the future.
