Alberta will be divided into multiple states to maximize its votes in the Senate and the Electoral College.
I could see Norway admitted as a single state with some clause to permit the split of two new states from it in the same way as the “New States of convenient size not exceeding four in number” thing when Texas was admitted. Canada, though? Suriname can certainly pull off having a single administrative division comprising well over half the country, but I’m not so sure about the USA…
