What is “inherently flawed” about Marxism? Furthermore, all major AES states have been dramatic improvements on what came before, from the brutal Tsarist Russia, to the poor agrarian Nationalist China, to the fascist slave economy of Cuba, Socialism has made a massive improvement compared to previous systems for these countries.

Probably because Marxism is an inherently flawed political system, and every country that has ever attempted it has quickly become a hellhole.
