True but some people could die, before my mom passed away she required an oxygen machine, she had a tank to use if power was out but it only lasted so long, so potentially she could have died if the power went out. If people aren’t well prepared for it it can be dangerous especially in the winter.
Yeah unexpected blackouts are v bad, but with hospitals usually on their own power grid (and with their own generators) people in those situations are usually taken to hospitals or other areas where generators are available.
Though if you’re in a state like Texas, you’re pretty much at constant risk of being fucked by blackouts anyway tbf
