Oh, you know. They’re still proving they’re people after the last time their state and a large number of their citizenry did that thing that disqualifies you from being considered a person.

      • Why does a person need to prove they are a person? I mean I get someone can be a bad person, can be an evil person, but note we are still saying they are a person, there person hood is not in doubt. so why is it that we are making people prove they are people, and why are we doing this on a state by state basis?

I’m only really half memeing, fascists of course aren’t people and cannot be treated like they’re people; but realistically most Germans don’t support Israel and no longer support far right ideologies, so most of them are people.

In absolute honesty I’m shocked this is now the case especially as AfD continues to gain larger and larger support in government and the German government continues to trip over itself in defending Israel. I’m happy most Germans are decent.

Hard disagree. Fascist takes shouldn’t be tolerated in an ideal government, but fascist supporters are people, even if they do monstrous things. It’s important to remember that, at least for those of us in the international-community-1international-community-2, fascists are regular people you will meet in your regular life.

This is a super dangeorus line of thinking, they ARE people, no diffrent than you and I, and they have chosen or been coerced to choose this, and honestly that is a scarier though. They are not dumber than us, they are not less capable of making rational decisions than us, because we are made of the same stuff, our thoughts are both just electircal impulses through the brain. Our choices are we can discard them as “not people” stop trying to understand what drove them to make the choices they made, and how to counter that naritive, how to teach and convence them to come over. OR we can understand they are people who made this choice for a reason, and vary rarely do they choose it because they woke up and decided to be cartoonishly evil, we need to understand what has caused this. Now will we be able to get them all, no the leadership are criminals and should be treated as such, but not every person is unreachable. We get no where when we start discounting people as not people.
