I don’t know if it’s done with intent or not, but it has the effect of being a tactic of online warfare—say something extremely offensive that will fly under the radar of the mods, either because it’s technically not a TOS violation or because of mod bias in favor of right wing chode fucks, and then report the angry, fiery reactions. That’s how I got at least one of my many site-wide bans from Reddit.
