The term alludes to a tenacious, thorny desert plant, known in English as prickly pear, with a thick skin that conceals a sweet, softer interior. The cactus is compared to Israeli Jews, who are supposedly tough on the outside, but delicate and sweet on the inside.

which ya know, additionally silly when you consider the plant is from the Americas, and was widely used in colonial states as a living fence

“Sweet and delicate inside” is a hell of a way to describe “full of rancid shit and bloody entrails” tbh, they’re so full of themselves lol…

What part is the “sweetness” again? It’s certainly not given to the indigenous Arabs- so who is it for? Non-Arabs, like the Asian laborers they prevent from fraternizing with locals or having sex whatsoever in the country (racist racial purity bullshit from the sounds of it)? To their fellow Jews, like the Ethiopian Jews they have forcefully sterilized, the Yemeni and other MENA Jews they discriminate against, or all those Jewish people who reject their settler-colonialism- or even those fellow Zionists who simply have concerns or get in the way (that Hannibal protocol lol)?

What sweetness exactly are we talking about lol… they may as well have called the Nazis sweet, their attitude in some ways even is more repulsive than that.
