I want people to understand how these things work and to be aware that everything on the internet is public. finally understand that all this data collection can be done entirely by an individual, public actor without any necessary special sums of money or influence or power.

- Single IP address could be assigned to multiple users. It depends on user’s ISP. For example mobile operators often used this schema.
- IP address could be dynamic. In such case it changes every time user connects to the Internet or periodically.
- User could download torrent which we don’t have.
First item in my case. There’s torrented content that makes me sick(*), so be prepared for that if you check. You might read shit you didn’t expect to.

It says they scrape torrent sites, but I would bet most of their data comes from trolling the DHT. If your torrent client supports turning DHT off, that might keep you off their radar.
