Dead Prez is awesome, political rap. I think my favorite by them is “They Schools.” “Hell Yeah” is also great.
The more I listen to them the more I love them. They Schools is on my list to share here. I don’t know how I wasn’t aware of them during their heyday. While I’m not their core demographic, I have always listened to a lot of hip hop, and even back in the day tended towards the more conscious hip hop. (BDP etc.) If you aren’t aware, Arrested Development’s last few albums are absolute bangers also.
