Sadly most times “Bantu migration” is mentioned in a South African context, it’s used as an excuse/“empty land myth” for colonialism, saying that settlers and Africans arrived in the country at the same time.
That’s a gross way to twist the anthropology and linguistic evidence we have that goes back centuries before white people arrived. That is sad. We evolved on Africa.
