I may sound a bit chauvinistic here, but the Democrats seem like they have completely stopped factoring in how weak this ordeal has made Biden look in the traditional sense. Although in an ideal world we would not ascribe so much value to perceptions of dominance and “alpha” status, in the eyes of non sycophant general voters this ordeal of Biden moving heaven and earth for Israel only to have Bibi still attack him for not doing enough absolutely makes Biden look removedmade, and therefore unfit to lead.

I disagree in a very clerical and academic sense. I would have used phrases like “picked the wrong friends,” “walked into predictable traps,” and “got stuck between a rock and a hard place.” If he’s able to command so many billions of dollars and cause that much suffering, I don’t doubt the capacity of Biden('s apparatus) to command a ridiculous force. I guess I don’t believe in a requisite amount of dominance to have Bibi do as he’s told if a worldwide military superstructure can’t do it. I want to believe 10cm of height, 20kg of muscle, a scowl, and a no nonsense attitude wouldn’t change anything. isntrael just needs to be dissolved for justice to prevail.
