Of course he is saying that he will be losing the debate on purpose. He knows that he will lose any real debate, so by pre-announcing this, people might actually believe he did this on purpose.

During an interview that aired Thursday on Real America’s Voice, Trump sought to lower expectations for his debate performance. He argued that Biden should take a drug test before the event.

“They’re going to feed him a lot of stuff, and we should do a drug test,” he demanded. “I’d love to do a drug test beforehand.”

Somebody needs to drug test Trump. Projection at it’s finest.

      It won’t matter.

“Brandon obviously used soros’s deep state to fake his results. And it doesn’t matter if someone is on drugs because that is our God given right and everyone should have enough ketamine and coke in their body to kill a dozen horses”

The Left constantly makes that mistake. chuds have no shame.

I’m perfectly happy with both of them taking one (assuming it’s administered by a neutral third-party). No reason to give the orange turd more ammunition to lash out if the tests are one-sided.

A sitting resident can’t have their blood accessed by a third party. It is forbidden. They only the secret services personal blood handler may do so. Behind triple creme bunker walls.

“I was only pretending to be removed!”

It doesn’t really work for internet contrarians when they get put on blast for having shit opinions on political forums, but why the fuck is it actually working in real life?

Trump is so embarrassing that I don’t see how anybody can actually genuinely like the guy. Is his only redeeming quality at this point just the fact that he enrages everyone left of center? Because aside from that and grifting money from people, he doesn’t seem to stand for much else.

You know when you work with someone and they get attractive over time? That’s basically the right and trump.

They also see themselves in him.

Translation: I was too stupid to realize that the other guy might actually call my bluff and too much of a sociopathic narcissist to realize I’m Dunning-Kruger level incompetent and am going to declare that I am victorious regardless of my state of dementia. Also I’m going to increase the chocolate ration from 30 grams to 20 grams per week.

Classic unnecessary hedge of a narcissist.

No matter how badly he’s trounced, his cult following will scream to the heavens that he won handily.

In spite of knowing this and in spite of the fact that losing a debate on purpose makes ABSOLUTELY no sense no matter how you look at it, he just can’t handle anyone, even his most ardent critics, knowing that he’s not infallible 🤦

Trump said he did not want Biden removed from the Democratic ticket even though he polls better than other contenders.

“Well, you know, interestingly, they’ve done polling, and I do better against almost everybody,” he opined. “And so they don’t — they don’t want to take him off. It depends.”

“Maybe I’m better off losing the debate,” Trump added. “I’ll make sure he stays. I’ll lose the debate on purpose. Maybe I’ll do something like that.”

How the hell does this make any sense? Barring Biden dropping dead or something, there is zero chance he is going to be removed as the nominee. Trump’s performance, or even Biden’s himself, at any debate isn’t going to change that. The fact that this is a Trump/Biden race has been pretty much etched in stone for months.

But this is Trump and this is how he operates. It’s how he handles his own weaknesses: Rather than admit he has faults, he just preemptively says “If I fail at <thing>, its because the whole system is rigged!”. Why? That way, when he inevitably fails at the thing (which almost always happens), he’s got a built in excuse that his base will eat right up.

Remember when pundits used to talk about Donnie was ‘playing 3d chess’. They were trying to project he was this super smart negotiator, etc.

Funny how we don’t hear those claims anymore, dontcha think?

That’s because it’s not an argument. He’s presupposing the frame that his rabid supporters are going to use, which is he only lost because he was goofing on the sham debate on purpose. He knows that his base is ride or die, and whatever he does on the debate stage isn’t going to change that. He’s explicitly giving them the line to use.

And it’s the line they’ll push to right wing media to convince the casuals that Trump is still ok to vote for. They’re doing the same thing with his convictions. And even Hunters conviction is being twisted to fit their corrupt DOJ bullshit.

If he makes it through, no matter what, how bad, no matter how bad he is, they’ll say he was great

If you hadn’t read the post, you’d think this was about Trump and not Trump on Biden. Projection you say?

They better have that mute button ready, and be willing to use it. Better yet, have the ‘applause’ light come on every time the orange convict gets cut off.
