Unsarcastic, I’m glad they’re not just on the west coast this year. Being on the west coast I’m so goddamn pissed at fox, Florida, Texas, and my home in the Midwest, and all of them. Haw haw haw California is literally burning and they can’t breathe their air.

Now the Midwest has had the worst air quality they’ve ever seen. Good, maybe you’ll start realizing how fucked this is. I grew up in the Midwest and I never saw wildfire smoke, now it’s an annual occurrence.

Wanna keep laughing at the libs? Or maybe realize this is gonna fuck all of us over and wildfires don’t really care about what political party you are in.

But they won’t. They’ll think “wow so terrible” and then climb their ladder into their Ford/Chevy F150 penis lengthener super duty and get 0.2mpg on their trip to the super market.

Florida has some pretty nasty wildfires too. Dealing with wildfire smoke wasn’t that unusual as a kid, and swamp fires are disgusting, but they were rarely as bad as the smoke Minnesota has been getting hit with this year. California also has to put in more effort to fight them due to how many expensive homes are at risk - mostly poor people live in rural areas in Florida. My father worked for the Florida Division of Forestry so I definitely heard more about the wildfire situation though, every few years they’d ask my dad and his co-workers to go help with the California wildfires and usually a bunch of his co-workers went. I wouldn’t be shocked if they’ve stopped helping under DeSantis though.

Florida’s been having really bad red tides recently and that reeks along with the sargassum blob last year. The effects of climate change are impacting them too, but their anger has been directed at things less dangerous for the capitalists.

yep exactly. I’d love for all of us to come together and solve climate change, there are solutions we could figure out, but instead people would rather literally make fun of people affected by it. But let’s keep laughing at libs rather than actually solving problems.
