2.5 KW PSU, that’s a crazy power supply.

Not sure why fans needs USB-C, but what do I know?

    Seems dangerous for the USA, that PSU would need a 20amp circuit and most residential bedrooms are 15amp. But if you need 2500 watt PSU you probably won’t want the machine in your bedroom.

      A 20A 120V circuit would not be enough. That’s only 2400 watts and you can only use 80% of that continuously. It would need a dedicated 15A 240V circuit.

      At best, the power supply will probably only be 90% efficient at full load, so it could draw over 2600 watts from the wall.

    This has to be for commercial applications. I have a gaming rig and a server very comfortably running off a single 1200 W PSU.

    Okay, I’ll bite: how do they come up with that number? What in a computer is actually dissipating that much power and for how long?
