In this case, would it be an adequate equivalent to use an Invidious or Piped instance to link to the video for discussion while minimizing engagement for the creator to profit from, or should the video be downloaded and uploaded to perhaps a PeerTube instance to further disconnect from the original source? Or is there no value in discussing topics such as this, especially if the topic being discussed is viewed through the lens of liberal content mills and/or cause harm to the defamed victims?
I don’t know enough on the topic to distinguish mirrors, but I am pretty sure as concerns the instance rules all of those are fine.
