Well, I’ll give you a hint: At least one of them is actually a reptile.

Ah, yeah. What’s funny is, at first I wanted to say “salamander”, because that’s probably what I would have answered as a kid. Turns out that’s an amphibian, too (and closely related to the axolotl).
As an adult, I don’t feel that I know enough to make an informed decision. Regardless: blue-tailed skink. There are definitely at least two cooler than it, but there are many of them where I live, and they’re my pals.
That is actually really tricky. Because slow worm and tuatara really both deserve a podium spot.

The answer at the time was False Water Cobra btw. Nowadays the Diamond Carpet Python fills that spot and the FWC has moved down to 5th or 6th. Gotta grow up sometime I guess 😤
