Google Photos can recognize faces. Maybe theres a way to filter them?

Yes, just tap the three dots on photos you want to filter, then tap memories settings and then tap hide faces.

I think the solution lies in deleting their photos. For a multitude of reasons. I’m almost at that point, personally. I don’t need to see that face anymore, ya know? It’s been years.

Idk, I did that, but now I wish I hadn’t

Not because I’m pining or anything, but because I’m not missing photos for a big chunk of my life - you may not still have feelings for the person, but the trips you took together and the adventures you went on are still worth remembering

Snapchat won’t stop harassing me with memories from eons ago and it’s really frustrating.

If my gf didn’t use snap, I’d drop it in a heartbeat. Using it and being an adult at the same time just doesn’t feel right.

Yes let me just scroll through years of photos and spend hours combing through them all to find the few specific pictures they decide to randomly throw in your face.

I have pictures on my phone from over ten years ago. The reality is no one asked for this “feature”

It takes seconds to disable if you don’t like it

Personally, I really like the feature

If you didn’t delete the photos right away when the relationship and allowed thousands of photos to accumulate, that’s your fault really.
