that’s because for better or worse, the president is the face of the country and Trump is a very ugly person physically, mentally, and spiritually so it’s natural the opinion would wane while he was president.

He could be the sexiest person out there and my opinion of him would not change. Conversely, I would prefer the Hunchback of Notre Dame if they were a actually capable leader.

Trump’s damning ugliness is his personality.

Physical appearance should not factor in our evaluation of a leader’s capabilities.

During the whole ‘Russian-Prigozhin-Putin’ fiasco I realized ‘It’s nice that the U.S. is no longer being seen as the chaos idiot of the world.’ Every day with Trump the world woke up waiting to see what lunacy that moron was going to come up with, and whether it would kill us all.

It’s almost like governments and people prefer a leader that doesn’t treat international relations like they just finished the first chapter in Power Plays - How to be the shittiest person in the boardroom (and suck up to those shittier than you)

Unpopular I would say . From outside we see US a twisted shadow of what it was long time ago.

That’s how we see it from inside the US too. But the point is we’re less bad when our chief executive isn’t a treasonous cheeto.
