It’s a bit weird 'cause I love the Mad Max movies. But the casting Anja and Chris kinda made me lose interest, eventhough I know them both to be fine actors.
I think maybe it’s because Hollywood has a tendency to shove their “darlings” into as much as possible when they peak. And I’ve probably just had my fill.

Same. If there was an unknown in the lead I would be stoked about it.
Well, yeah. It kinda means the series was about expanding the universe, not just cashing in on a current success film.
Mind you , I do think George Miller is still in that mindset… But I’m also kinda afraid he’s bowing down to some typical Hollywood shenanigans.
