I’m legit confused as to who Trump is even gonna pick at this point. He’s made enemies with like half of the Republican governors over various petty things, and most of the senators/former senators are either people Trump would consider weak / pathetic and a lot of the “star power” reps would probably take too much attention away from him, and it’s not like he needs to pick another evangelical, since he’s got that vote locked up tighter than ever.
He has his pick, because even the guys who don’t like him see the VP as a temporary role until Trump croaks. But yeah, it’s fascinating to see who can thread that needle. Certainly not Meatball Ron at this point
