None. That’s what the bookmark functionality is for, no?

Sometimes it just doesn’t seem worth it to save something as a bookmark when you only want to save it temporarily.

I have a folder in which I throw these bookmarks, to keep the rest clean.

lol - no, these guys insist on the logic that you should keep tabs open… and after a few days they have hundreds and then complain that they have trouble managing them.

Bookmarks, and especially TAGS is the way to go (because you don’t want to rely on searching folders for old bookmarks).

    Simple Tab Groups

I can create a tab group from some tabs and then archive that tab group for later

Definitely “in my pocket”. It’s basically the old version of pocket and has sync

You mean something like Pocket? I use Omnivore (open source).

I actually use Pocket as a transition space to move links between phone/PC. I also use it as a general bookmarking tool when appropiate.

I recommend you to try Omnivore. It has apps on phones as well extensions in the browsers. You can sync them between devices as well. Plus they are open sourced and are present on the Fediverse so it’s nice too :)

I just keep all of mine open and let the tabs fall in Tree-Style Tab the way they do. I’m up to 586 tabs in one window, and 77 in the other.

I have a ‘later’ folder on the bookmarks toolbar… you need extensions for that?

The main key, for me, is to always try to think of a couple of extra TAGS to add to help find bookmarks without having to browse folders.

OneTab is such a simple solution on the face of it. But the more you look into it the more you see.

Tab Session manager works really poorly for me. I’ve been using it for years and have had this issue for years where often when I’d try to restore a session, a bunch of tabs would be lost and replaced with blank new tab pages. It’s really frustrating when I trust the extension with session up to literally 100s of tabs.
