honestly I think trump or any republican in office is the better outcome solely for the fact that it mobilizes liberals to actually give a fuck about the horrors the U.S. is perpetrating both at home and abroad

Bernie was the most popular candidate in 2020, and Medicare for All was so universally supported that everyone but Biden (lol) claimed to support some version of it.
