I am making a YouTube Poop of WWDC. I put the Apollo icon on the bubble in the beginning intro, the Lemmy logo on the bubble that the guy jumps onto, and the Reddit logo appearing and blowing up twice.
I want to make it public at the exact time that Apollo dies.
well, the API will start costing money on July 1, and Reddit is in San Fransisco, CA, so, one would assume:
July 1, 2023 00:00 AM PST
perhaps it might be a few minutes or hours past that, but probably not.
May be before that. It’s not reddit that will turn if off, it’s Christian. He will want to make sure spez has no excuse to charge him a penny, so it may happen well in advance, when it turns July 1 anywhere.
You may have to ask Spez. After all, the connection will drop when Reddit stops responding to unauthenticated API requests.

There’s a notice on Apollo saying that June 30th is the last working day of the app. No sure about the time, but maybe 23:59:59 x)
