Hello there, Hexbear! I am living in southern California at the moment, the south end of Los Angeles county to be more exact. I would love to help out and bring the local encampments for Palestine some coffee, food stuffs, water, whatever I can. I’m hoping for suggestions of where to look or how to contact organizers to find out what is most needed/wanted most! Accounts to follow or websites for how to best bring by donations! Thank you so much comrades!
They’re currently being dismantled by the cops I’m pretty sure
Some are. Irvine’s mayor actually made a pretty strong statement that she is against any police intervention. I’ve heard UCLA is actually ramping up, but that may be old news at this point.
Edit: Radio Pacifica is reporting the past two nights have been bad at UCLA. They have been brutalized by both the Zionists and LAPD.
Also if anyone has any specific information on the Humboldt protests. That is quite the drive for me, but I know those comrades are in a far less favorable environment to voice their opinions than our friends down here in the southern end of the state. If they are still going strong I’d love to know who to donate to financially or hopefully I could make a weekend trip up there soon.
Not much going on right now. They swept it a couple days ago and cleared everyone out. Arrested about 25 people, all of whom were out of jail the next day. I’ll know more about what’s happening by tomorrow.
Costco gift cards are easy to mail. DM me if something like that is helpful.
That’s super nice of you. I don’t have a personal use for such a thing, but I will keep it in mind should I encounter a use for such a thing. Honestly I word encourage you to just donate to relevant organizations serving Palestinians, or even some bail funds closer to home.
Are you sure? I think I saw Costco Business has a great price on tactical 5 gallon water jugs.
Haha no bullshit, but I can’t express how proud I am of our little town producing such a fierce meme. Love from beyond the redwood curtain.
Do any of the organizations in your area have social media accounts (twitter/instagram/tik tok). In some cases, the organizations will post on there what they need
This. Find an SJP or JVP, they’ll likely be at least reposting if not directly organizing

Yeah, that’s really the only way to know.
That’s a good idea. I can always load the back of my minivan with Costco waters and maybe some individual nut and trail mix packs.
UC Irvine is closest to me. My brother and I are going to drop some water off tomorrow and to make inquiries about needed supplies. I saw that the UCLA encampment managed to expel the police presence today, so we may trek up there as well and see how things are going. Thank you for the ideas and encouragement!
Go to one and ask. They don’t always need supplies. Sometimes they need labor or someone willing to take certain risks.
