Thought this was an interesting question and I’m sure there’s lots of suggestions out there.

Yeah, this. It was such an interesting premise, an engaging cast, and really seemed to be going someplace interesting. Would’ve loved to see it get enough time to find its voice. Even their bottle episode was great fun.
At least we got serenity to kinda tie up lose ends
I didn’t want to see them quickly tied off though, I wanted to see them expand into grand story arcs.
A reboot would be very welcome.
I am mixed. A reboot would be nice but everyone, myself included would compare it to the nostalgia in our head.

Edit: Welp I read that. It is gross. Whedon hasn’t commented on it but a whole host of his cast and crew are accusing him of lots of bad stuff including one part where they said he wasn’t allowed to be alone with Michelle Trachtenberg when she was 14.
I obviously have no idea if any or all of the accusations are true.

Honestly I didn’t do my due diligence before. I had heard rumblings about it for years but didn’t look in to it either. It sucks. We have a culture that rewards you for making people money above all else and at all costs.
I’d love to see a whole spinoff just on Book’s back story. I’m so curious about who he was and what lead him to become the Shepherd we know and love.

For anyone put off by the fact that it only had two seasons, it is still well worth watching. It was excellent. I would gladly watch two more seasons.
I wish the answer here was “Westworld”.
That first season was perfect television. And that season finale? My god. I was so excited to watch season 2 and it… just fell short on all fronts. It has its moments, but ultimately failed to measure up to that first season.
Which would have been okay, but then season 3 and 4 happened, and diluted the overall quality of the show to a point where I stopped recommending the show to anyone and just tell them to stick to S1.
I want to live in a timeline where we left off on that S1 ending wondering what could have been.
The Expanse. The show had a satisfying ending but the books went a bit further into the future and I’d like to see more in the shows.
i don’t remember the details but The Expanse isn’t outright cancelled. they need to wait for some license or something to expire
My understanding is it’s pretty much canceled. I think it was left a little open, but after the whole Cas Anvar thing it’s pretty much dead. To be fair, the last 3 books would be hard (and expensive) to do right.
We just need to wait a few decades.
The Expanse
Expanse ended on a good point. We would probably need at least 2 seasons to finish up the final trilogy. If one extra season would be all we got, I’d not want it tbh.
They could finish the series with a final season if you cut out the politics after the time jump. Really just take the last book and maybe a few parts from 7 and 8 and you could make a complete story.
It could be done some way I’m sure, but I’m not sure if it would be as good as it could. We saw what a rushed final season can do to a show with GoT (extreme example, I know).
I’m still comfused why they included the Weird Dogs story though, it left the show more open ended for apparently no good reason.

Veronica Mars or Gravity Falls
I second gravity falls. It’s a great show if you haven’t watched it
The VM of the original series or the VM of the movies and reboot? I think her character changes so much and I’m not sure i would want to follow her down her new, dark path.
OK, who am I kidding, I would totally watch another season.
I like both versions of Veronica. The high school version has the nerdy teenage charm, but the older Veronica is more gritty and flawed. I’d like to see where they could take a new darker season. I do wish that the series hadn’t been axed after season 3 though. I’ve recently been watching The Good Place and Bell is excellent in that.
The OA. Fuck Netflix for canceling it.
I probably shouldn’t be surprised, but I can’t freaking believe that someone has the same two answers as me. We’ll get through this, friend.
i can think at least three reasons:
- great minds think alike
- those are great shows
- netflix sucks
Chuck because I want to see that happy ending and Eureka because I miss the weird combo of sci-fi, comedy and drama

This is a great answer, but honestly, it deserves much more than one additional season!
It did but at lease we could have gotten a conclusion for the cliffhanger.
That’s the one I chose. What really sucks is they asked if they would be picked up for another season and chose to do the cliffhanger because the producers thought they were coming back for a fifth and final season then were dropped during the summer.
