Certainly going to be civil unrest conditions given that most people are already living hand to mouth. There’s just not a lot of slack left in the system to absorb another economic shock.

That would require the US to stop propping up US automakers. I think we’re at least a decade away from that being possible.
That would require the total lost of political power of the capitalist running the US automakers which can be pretty tough.
