In all honesty, neither did Paresh Raval, nor did Canadian Kumar, so it would be unfair to blame the public here.

Paresh Rawal’s acting career was ended by elites after the movie, so I think it affected him a lot. He became a director for OMG2 recently. Mango Kumar is just playing favourites to revive his career flopped after 2010s, banking on the Hindutva wave, considering how he becomes a Hindu god or bhakt or Indian soldier all the time now.

I consider it fair to blame the public for being lazy and impotent against establishment, and continuously flipflopping between Congress and BJP. r/India recently perma banned me because I was shitting on liberals for making Rahul Gandhi their Joe Biden, something I openly said.

Unfortunately, in my local constituency, there’s no other candidates apart from BJP and Congress, which sucks. TIL about B. V. Kakkilaya, who was not only a communist, but also a freedom fighter, and that too, a Tuluva.

People starving so that Gods can have their palaces! What a deplorable downfall of society’s priorities. Religion is truly a cancer.

Not necessarily. Religion is a tool.

I think the true issue is our education system not being able to instil scientific temper into our people.
The nationalist/cultural aspect will remain, but the unscientific stuff dying down would help a lot.
