I am forced to use JShelter to block myself from fingerprinting. Or am I doing something wrong? I’ve not messed up the defaults in any shape or form.

Just wondering, are you keeping LibreWolf at the default window size or max screen ? Lately I noticed that some Linux distributions do not respect the defaults of LW and max it automatically. Few weeks ago I test Tor browser and LibreWolf with both sites and got mixed results :/

I’ve actually noticed an improvement in Cover Your Tracks’ rating from “nearly unique” to “partial protection” lately. Never tried it with “Am I Unique” so not sure about that one. I’ve heard the issue with Cover Your Tracks is that it looks more for randomization as fingerprinting protection rather than the way LibreWolf is designed (more of the “blend in the crowd” method) so Brave, which randomizes but (supposedly) doesn’t offer quite as strong protection, ends up appearing much better than LibreWolf in CYT’s rating.

Librewolf never fully protected my fingerprint unless I also use NoScript. It’s usually my canvas and media devices.

i get the same font fingerprint all the time ( in browser leaks ) the second one changes. And says I am unique in all websites that look for it. I have everything like letterboxin turned on and the tweaks they suggest in faq/settings and sometimes using a vpn sometimes I don’t. Don’t have any other extension other than ubo ( medium settings ) some extra filters nothing regional . tried turning remote fonts on or off. dnno im just unique. edit today it says nearly-unique that is a step up from unique that I used to get and I did not change anything
