I spent some time out at Lake Michigan this last Christmas. My first time seeing snow and I definitely wasn’t ready for taking photos in this kind of cold. Had to take my gloves off to work the work the camera, snow bits and sand flying towards the lens and I even fell through the ice at the shore!
Still, my time there really makes me want to travel around and take some photos across the USA.
I have zero real idea how the fediverse works yet, so I’ll take what I can get!
Local feed should only show posts made on sublemmies that exist on your instance (where you have your account). The whole things still has lots of bugs and things like that happen.
Ooooooh. Thanks! I searched and there were surprisingly few places to discuss photography, so I went with one that seemed to have lots of cool photos. Plenty to learn about this thing : )
