Tuesday's vote followed months of intense campaigning from both teams, and a concerted opposition from community and activist groups.

    They did build a tiny street car, but it’s just a mile long stretch that connects the corporate mega projects to the open container alcohol zone. Hopefully one day it can turn into a useful alternative to owning a car in a city full of empty private parking lots.
