Scrolling is not smooth. I don’t have the same problem with other apps.
Butter smooth for me. Samsung s21 here and Samsung galaxy Tab s8 plus. Lemmy jerboa is silk.
Seconded. On a pixel 6. If anything, I find it too slippery and end up scrolling too far with a light flick. Must be tough to please everyone/anyone as an app developer.
And also alpha, lot of more bugs. Maybe in future releases get better, for me the website is best option for now

Could you please clarify what phone and which Android version you’re using? This sounds like some compatibility problem.
There have been some reports of performance problems and compatibility problems with older phones or Android versions.

I have the same issue. It’s worse when the header is sliding in and out, but I have no idea what causes it. It’s not unusable though, just a bit laggy.

I noticed this as well, it’s likely because the app is loading not enough posts to buffer for faster scrolling in both directions.
But I consider it a minor issue, if at all.
Super leggy for me. Sometimes I switch to the website but then the article refresh there annoys me and I switch back. My guess is prefetch, and possibly server load
Not superlaggy… But not smooth either.
Yeah, I do the same. Switch to the website, lose my scroll location and switch back to the app.
I think this is nowhere near a minor issue.
