    I’ll leave this here…

    There’s a Yiddish word that’s spelled similarly. It can be spelled in a bunch of ways - zaide for example. It’s pronounced ZEY-dee. It means grandfather.

        Alter kocker voice: “Great-grandson, great-grandson - on Facebook I saw somebody speaking of ‘their zaddy’. Their zaddy? The gentiles are using Yiddish now?”

        Great-grandson: “It um… I mean… It’s not from Yiddish.”

        Alter kocker: “What then?”

        Great-grandson: “Oy vey.”
