    1. They want to keep you in their walled garden.
    2. They will show you what can make them the most money as possible.
    3. You are the product. What data can they extract from you as they are making money from you.

Corporations only care about what will drive their share price higher.

yes, social media keeps proving why a profit-driven society really doesn’t have the interests of individuals in mind, companies will just do whatever they can get away with to extract as much money as possible from ordinary people.

I mean… isn’t it simply logical though? The profit motive is 100% inhuman. There is nothing human about the idea of profit. Profit is surplus of digitised points. Not computers and internet digitised, but as in not real, existing purely in ideation.

It’s like saying the goal of society should be to always find the next biggest prime number, and then get shocked that goal doesn’t bring people any happiness as we force billions to work cranking the world prime number calculation machine…

The only collective goal we can have that will bring people happiness is…… To make people happy. It’s baffling that is not our society’s goal. That we never even tried to build a system based on this.

We are all so stuck in this digitised mindset that we forget that the only things that really exist in this society are people. To not focus on that is really insane.
