That’s not so much an argument against cutting off ByteDance.
It’s an argument for how bad our legislators are, for not doing the other things also.
Which I imagine, most everyone agrees with.
The point there is that US politicians can come together to pass policy when they want to, and they simply don’t give a shit about the people living in US.
