Haven’t heard the term bloomscrolling before. I love it.
In due time when the Fediverse gets larger, it will eventually be more outrage bait like see what this state in the United States is doing to restrict voting / civil / bodily autotomy rights! or see what this corrupt politician did and got away with it! for now I blissfully enjoy not seeing that because of the size of semi-niche fediverse is for now
We’ll see how well this ages if the fediverse goes mainstream. Looking promising so far with international grassroots and government funding.
I love #mosstadon (do mastodon tags do anything in posts on kbin I wonder?).
I love how many mastodon posts are people taking pretty pictures of moss or mushrooms or birds.
Yes they do! I clicked on the #mosstadon hashtag and it took me to https://kbin.social/tag/mosstadon just as one would hope!
hmm, but when I looked under the #mosstadon tag from within Mastodon, I don’t see any of these. Something isn’t quite talking yet.
there’s a set of posts like this

I thought that the microblog/tag search stuff would share individual posts “microblogs” or whatnot between the tools. And ideally pixelfed so we can get #mosstadon posts originating from instagram style systems.
It’s wild to me that I’m reading this on Jerboa on slrpnk.net while people are commenting from Kbin and Mastodon…
aa
Give me your best plant communities!!
I like, let’s all help the fediverse bloom :)
The only thing I don’t like about mastadon is that on my feed, it’s shows all comments but not like main posts like Lemmy. Or am I using it wrong?
Lemmy uses the sensible reddit style of comments. Mastodon uses the twitter style from what I’ve seen.
I’d like to know who you guys are watching on Mastodon, because from my personal experience, it’s been DULL.
Follow hashtags and follow more people. “The algorithm” doesn’t decide what you see, you do.
