    we’ve built our entire system on a house of cards. Growth is the only way the stocks go up and stocking going up is the only way people can retire.

    It’s an unsustainable system. Companies have to figure out how to grow their profit no matter what or the entire thing crumbles.

    Instead of just building a good company that makes tons of money in it’s space… All companies have to try and grow grow grow…

    They’ve been doing it with cheap money for a while and now that people are demanding better pay it’s particularly difficult to grow.

    We need better anti-monopoly laws. If a company can just raise it’s prices and people have no other choice but to continue using them…that’s a monopoly

      You can see it in action too. Like how Instant Pot is going out of business. They’re still making millions, but they can’t grow the business because their products are fairly reliable and everyone that wants one probably has one. Well investors need their returns so I guess they’ll dismantle the company and sell everything off. Absurd 🙄
