      Indeed, I recall reading a little while back how birds are able to change their shape during flight. For example when they tuck in or extend their neck, or change the shape of their wings. This is what allows birds to do really tight and precise maneuvers in the air. A drone that is able to mimic this could have a lot of interesting applications I imagine as it would be extremely agile and use very little energy to fly.
