After I’ve been browsing for a while, I would like to be able to remove threads that I’ve already viewed from my feed because when Jerboa auto updates, it always sends me toward the top of my feed and then I have to scroll through a whole bunch of stuff again that I’ve already seen.
From the app’s Home page:
- Tap the 3-bars hamburger icon at top left corner.
- Tap on Settings (currently that’s immediately below “Inbox”)
- Tap on [your account name] settings (currently it’s immediately below “Look and feel”)
- Scroll down the page to the checkboxes, and uncheck “Show Read Posts”
- Remember to scroll down to the page bottom to Save Settings (!)
I up vote as i pass them so it marks as read. Then make sure Show Read Posts is not checked in account settings. Two birds stoned at once!
Voting marks as read! Nice learning, thanks!
Pretty sure you can it enable it in your profile settings, it’s called something along the lines of “hide read posts”
Go into your profile settings it’s in there
There should be a checkbox in your user settings for that. Side bar > Settings > [username] Settings > “Show Read Posts”
@Violet not on kbin.social. I wrote a little tampermonkey script that will auto hide all the posts that I vote on.
It should be in your profile settings, if setting it doesn’t work in jerboa try setting it from the web and jerboa should respect it
