Title. Also which option (Hot/Active/etc) will be the best to get an overview of the best posts per day?
minus-squareelonspez@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·edit-21 year agoPer day? Then sort by top of past day
minus-squareSorcierMaheP@sh.itjust.worksOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 year agoYeah but in terms of their activity, Active or Hot right? Both of them rank but Active uses latest comment vs Hot which uses post publish time…Which one is good as default? Thankyou for replying!
minus-squareStrangeWorrier@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·1 year agoI don’t like active, felt like it was way too many stale posts that were just picking up random comments.
minus-squareqprimedlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·edit-21 year ago“hot” defintely seems more dynamic and there have been some good threads about ppl preferring / recommending “hot” to newer users to get them engaged. edit: with more use (specifically jerboa), I find myself flipping back and forth between “hot” and “new”.

Yes, either that or by New.
