found this pretty interesting as i recently dropped my old old aeropress and some of the side (fins?) came off. i use the fellow prismo, and it seems to hold well enough, but i can no longer use it with standard cap and filters. was thinking about getting a new one, but i think i’ll spring for a chemex instead and try that.

Could you use the funnel (inverted)? It might not be real stable, but it should at least sit in a cup okay. Like this?
I like my chemex, but the coffee it produces is very different from my aeropress.
Not saying you shouldn’t go that route, just be aware
