According to the linked issue on GitHub there have been changes to the NSFW blur.
To be honest I did not find an option to blur NSFW posts in the Jerboa settings. I did only find the checkbox to enable or disable NSFW posts all together.
Can you explain how to enable NSFW blur? Did I miss anything?
I’m using Jerboa 0.0.27 from F-Droid.
Do acquire the latest ver .33 of the software. via F-Droid or Google Play.
Menu -> Settings -> Account Settings -> Show NSFW. This works as intended.
Modifications they make now on GitHub will be delivered later in future update.
Thanks! I didn’t notice my app repository on F-Droid hasn’t been updated for MONTHS! 😬
Haha, Just place an reminder for yourself in the calendar with reasonable time frame. Manual update checks for all kinds of stuff in your possession, of your household as example. :)
Ah, so it still shows the post but blurred as opposed to not showing the post at all?
Not blurred in my case, so I have it un - ticked. It works as advised.
Reminder this whole Lemmy & Jerboa is in active dev, so I hope for significant changes /differences coming months.
Apologies in advance, I’m still fumbling around trying to get my head around it.
What I’m trying to do is have a feed that still includes some NSFW content, but blurs the image on the feed.
All ok, i am confused also with this platform, as just a week of use. There is plenty of people from Reddit that immigrates into here, like me. So i am confident that dev with plentiful of improvements are on the to do list.
With 0.33, when i tick the nsfw box, all those community appear. Including content, no blurring effect.
If i don’t mark it, those commuties are not shown.
What you say can be requested as feature/ function on the GitHub page. Makes sense to be honest. I might do this later on.
