One of my favorite games of all time! I’m thinking of replaying it again soon since it’s been a while.

I hope you play in the original console. Or you are just “stifling” innovation

Nintendo has some amazing games, it’s a shame that they’re so greedy that they outright bullshit against what they see as potential competition. It immediately reminds me what that Steam guy said about piracy being a problem of distribution, not of price. (Or something like this.)
Had they embraced emulation, and made it easy for people to play their legally bought games in whatever platform they wanted, I bet that they would’ve made a pretty penny in the long run. But instead they decided to demonise it, lie about it, and then release subpar official emulators to “milk out” nostalgia one last time.
Oh yeah, great memories of this game. Way back when gaming companies actually meant something compared to today standards.
I really do miss the old days
That was one among the games that made my focus shift from platform (Donkey Kong Country style) to RPG. Such a masterpiece.
Great game. Squaresoft peak era.
@taylus GENO!!! 。°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°。
I’ve never played it. What makes this game your favorite compared to other RPGs? Are you hooked on nostalgia or will anybody enjoy it on first pick up?
No denying nostalgia plays a part but it’s also a very polished Square title with an engaging battle system and a fun lighthearted story. It’s worth a try if you’ve never played it!
It’s a pretty good JRPG with some quicktime event style stuff.
But mainly nostalgia. I felt like Lufia 2 was a much better JRPG mechanically.
Amazing game I never got passed the robot squad at the volcano though I gotta go back and beat it
