    WHY IS THERE CODE

Because that’s literally what GitHub is for? GitHub is used for collaborative coding. Of course there’s fucking code. It’s not an app store where you just go and download some software.

And as for the project you linked, that’s a python script. Python scripts don’t usually have an exe. Instead of actually understanding anything, you just saw there’s no exe and start throwing a tantrum. “I only know to download and install applications” is your fault.

Also, it’s open source project. Developed by volunteers on their free time. They don’t owe you anything. You should be grateful that they’re offering their hard work for free, but instead you just go on insulting them. Ungrateful fucks like you are the most annoying thing ever.

I’m subscribed to multiple different foss related community, and I’ll be honest, forgot entirely about this community since it gets so little posts. Plus things like this happen so often, it gets on my nerves when people bash open source contributors. So I just got angry and started replying without looking at the community, sorry.

In defense, there was another comment explaining how to run it so seeing that, I assumed this post was legit.

Again, my apologies. And thanks for the your contributions to the open source ecosystem.

It’s called Git Hub, so it’s a hub made by gits for gits. So if you ain’t a git, git out!

You don’t need to ever have written a single line of code, nor do you need to look at the code, you just need to know how to install a python module and run it, just like you usually need to know how to install and run an exe.

It’s pretty easy and perhaps even faster than using some random package, unless if you’re using something like TempleOS or Windows, in which everything is unnecessarily difficult.
