Well, I already had a server running with some other stuff, so i just put Lemmy on there aswell.
As for difficulty: I run my server on NixOS and installed Lemmy the NixOS way, this easier or more difficult, depending of the angle you are looking at it. Installing it on a fresh machine via Ansible as suggested in the docs should be quite straightforward.
