I don’t like some posts on my feed. I cannot find any option to hide it, on sync for reddit i could just swipe it to left and it will be hidden. Please add that feature.

I’m going to miss sync. Hopefully this app will get better with time. Or maybe some Reddit apps will port over or something. I hope anyway.

RedReader have long term plan to be multipurpose app for forums. Dev mentioned specifically Lemmy, Tildes and RSS support in future.

RiF had a feature to hide any post you voted on, with an option to only hide posts you downvoted. I used the downvote-hide option and it made a huge difference in the way used Reddit. It made me use downvotes they were intended: not as a disagree button but to reduce the visibility of content.

You can configure Lemmy to hide read posts. It’s not as convenient, and it has the side effect that you can’t see your own posts anymore, but maybe it works for your use case.

I mean even on sync you can press a button that instantly hides all the read posts. It doesn’t have to be automatic tho.

Also sometimes I just wanna hide one post because it’s disgusting or whatever. Would be nice to have this feature added.

i noticed something similar maybe. when you see a terrible spam, you report it. then go back and block the user. the post is still visible even after all that. maybe a check box to also block when reporting, and to hide blocked posts after setting them to block. would be smooth
